In addition to announcing the Mate S, Huawei has officially unveiled the G8, which puts the focus on low-light photography. Details on the G8 are somewhat limited, but here is what we do know about it so far. Featuring a 5.5-inch FHD, the smartphone will run Android 5.1 out of the box. Powering the G8 is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615, along with 3GB of RAM and a 3,000mAh battery.
The phone is said to come with 32GB of storage, and a 13MP camera which should provide great low-light photography. As far as pricing and availability, Huawei has yet to announce specifics. Be sure to keep it locked to Android Central for all of your IFA 2015 updates.
