We're getting into the thick of it now with the new LG G4 — yes, we're hard at work on a complete LG G4 review — but it's also a good time to take a step back and look at the broad strokes. There's a lot going on with LG's latest. Some familiar, some new, but all important.
And so these are the first things you need to know about the LG G4.
Samsung has seriously scaled back the number of gesture options on the GS6, but what's there still works.
Falling back to earth after the gesture heyday of the Galaxy S4, the settings for motion and gesture control on the Galaxy S6 can be summed up to just a single page in the settings. That's an issue for the few folks who loved all of the crazy things you could do by moving the phone and...

How does the biggest Nexus phone we've seen thus far compare to the latest from LG? Bigger phone is still bigger.
Behold, the new LG G4 alongside the venerable Nexus 6. Neither is what we'd call a small smartphone — the G4 display is 5.5 inches. But as often is the case when we've put anything up against the latest Nexus, Motorola's monster definitely towers over it.

For a quick overview of everything the P8's got going on, you'll want to head on over to our video walkthrough of the...
Quick connect is one of those features that Samsung really wants you to use, but nobody does.
