MetroPCS announces the ZTE Avid 4G for $149

ZTE is really kicking out some nice affordable phones.

I recently acquired the ZTE Engage from Cricket and am more than impressed with it. While it isn't an LTE phone (and LTE service from Cricket is available in my area yet) I look forward to seeing more phones available from ZTE.

Between the Engage and my Nexus 7 my Android needs are more than fulfilled.

For $149, it;s not a bad looking phone; has decent specs as well. The onboard storage would kill it for me, however, even with the addition of a micro sd card slot.

With almost all Android apps having the option to run on this sd card that would be the last thing i would worry about.

My first question would be how much ram does ot have. 512mb or 1gb? The latter would seriously have my interested in this one.

Make this 3.9 or even 3.99 inches.

Make it 8gb, but remove sd card slot.

Make sure it's 1gb of ram.

Make it the Nexus 3. For that price, it will sell extremely well.

Various ZTE devices have gotten CyanogenMod support, so there is a possibility for this one, if not, at least root is certain. Seems like a good deal if you're already on MetroPCS. I have moved onto T-Mobile for a while now however. People underrate ICS a bit, if you customize it correctly, it will be very smooth.

I have this it but suddenly I have to downliad large sms mms nd when I try it keeps sayin I cannot download..and I can't figure it out..and why its suddenly happening
