HTC saw record sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and as a result the company is now extending its trade-in offer for the One A9 through January 7, 2016. During its sales, HTC saw a 731 percent increase in year-over-year sales, with the One A9 being the hottest item this time around. With more than 10 percent of those who grabbed the One A9 from HTC being iPhone users, HTC has decided to keep the promotion running for a little longer.
From now through January 7, 2016, you'll be able to trade a qualified phone for the One A9 at no cost to you. HTC has placed a trade-in value of $499 on the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, so anyone with one of these can do an even swap. For Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge owners, HTC has placed a value of $200 on the trade (so an A9 will cost you $299), and the LG G3 or LG G4 will net you just $100 in trade-in credit. So it's definitely a much better value for current iPhone owners here.
