Google's About Me page lets you easily control the privacy of your personal information

Google has introduced a new online tool that allows you to easily control which bits of your personal information are publicly available across Google's services. Called About Me, the page presents the myriad of work, education, residence, and other personal information that you can share with others, with privacy controls for each in one single page.

Overall, About Me is similar to the "About" page on Google+, but simply broken out into its own page. You can go through each category and tap the pencil icon on each card to edit the information, or click the privacy icons at the bottom of each card to change sharing preferences between public, private, your circles, and more. Finally, Google has included a convenient Privacy Checkup option that will take you, step by step, through explaining and setting up each category.

All of the changes you make will show up across all of Google's services, including Drive, Photos, and Google+. If you want to check out the About Me page and tinker around with the settings, head out to the source link below.
