Samsung Developers Conference

We've coming at you live from the inaugural Samsung Developers Conference in San Francisco. We're not really sure what to expect here at the Westin St. Francis, which should keep things that much more interesting.

We're streaming the keynote live on our SDC page. But hit the break if you prefer it with a little more chat room, the better to get your discussion on.

The keynote kicks off at 11 a.m. PDT, 2 p.m. EDT, and we'll be live later in the afternoon.

Really hope the nexus 5 is announced during this. Maybe THIS is the keynote Google was waiting to steal the thunder of, not some last week.

LG won't even be involved and they're the hardware partner...this is Google's baby regardless of the OEM involved.

Google would have to do far more than announce some silly Nexus 5 to upstage Samsung.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 is already better than any silly Nexus 5 and it's not even out yet.

Trust me expect crappy battery life and worthless camera those are hallmarks of Nexus handsets.

"Some silly nexus 5" Screw you and Google doesn't want to upstage a
Samsung anyways. They are an android OEM

First of all, comparing the Note 3 to any Nexus phone is like comparing an SUV to a sedan. Of course the bigger car (smartphone) will generally have more power, space, and capabilities. Good god you are stupid.
Secondly, you would know of these "hallmarks of Nexus handsets" because you've had them all? Oh right, you've only had a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon, and for only 7 months at that. What a tool.

So will Samsung mention why ATT locks their phones down so hard ? A Samsung developers conference can't be had if you run Samsung phones on ATT. Ask Samsung why the ATT S4 firmware MF3 is like Fort Knox ?

Can't talk..I'm loving my Galaxy Note 3..I think is the best phone I ever had..The first phone with no complaints of any lagging or freezing. ..simply the Best!!!
