Google has posted a new video, shot entirely with Google Glass, just in time for Mother's Day. The film was created by students at the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts, and is part of the Glass Creative Collection. Titled "Seeds," the video features a man taking a long journey home to India to surprise his mother.

Check it out, and let us know what you thought in the comments.

As much as I don't like Glassholes This is a pretty cute and neat message for its use.
As long as your mother isn't too old to understand what's going on to begin with of course.

right?! he didnt use any of the glass features aside from recording. which is misleading because i can't keep my glass on to record anything worth while, battery is terrible. great ad, love GG, but this ad is misleading.

Great video! I loved it. Better than the weird crap my sister did when he had her kids and then when I had mine I just said, "Yup, I knocked her up..."

I can't ever imagine walking around with Glass on . . . but I gotta admit, that video rocked. Best part was when she turned around and saw him for the first time and the surprise and joy on her face. Then she starts hitting him. Such a mom thing to do! :-)

It's cute, and sweet. But that has more to do with the filmmaker's talent than Google Glass. Still on the fence about GG.

I would love to get my hands on a set but I can't come up with that amount of money for anything.

No just a regular human who thinks traveling all this way with a piece of tech on my face to tell my mom she is going to be a grandmother is stupid. when all i could have done was pick up a stupid phone.

I think the point was that he was going to see his mother for mother's day and tell her about how his wife/significant other was now a mother. He simply documented his journey with Google glass.
