Samsung has launches the company's own contactless payment solution for smartphones in Spain. It's the first European market to roll out support for the service, following the U.S., China, and South Korea. Samsung also boasts that it's the first mobile payments platform of its kind to launch in the country. For those unfamiliar with Samsung Pay, it allows you to attach your bank cards to the wallet and conveniently make contactless payments.
Samsung Pay is ready to go with supported handsets, including the Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, S6, S6 edge and S6 edge+. The official announcement states that the Galaxy A5 (2016) will also support Samsung Pay in the coming weeks. It's a positive launch for Samsung, who sees its own platform up against the likes of Apple Pay and Android Pay.
