Google Newsstand paid content expands to more countries

Support for paid content within Google Play Newsstand has been expanded to Android users in the Philippines, Poland, Taiwan, and Ukraine. Customers in these areas will now be able to purchase magazines and newspapers from their Android phones and tablets. Currently, only 22 countries have access to the paid content, while the free content is available everywhere. These new countries join Canada, Brazil, Belguim, France, and a variety of others that have already had access to the paid content.

Titles and publications will vary by region, so you may notice local content along with some global content. If you happen to live in one of these countries, head into the Play Store now and check it out.
