NVIDIA Shield Controller now available on the Google Store

Fans of NVIDIA's Shield Tablet and Shield Android TV can now order extra game controllers for those devices from the Google Store. The controller works with both the Shield Tablet and the Android TV box.

For those unfamiliar with NVIDIA's controller, it's a full-sized twin-stick unit. It features four face buttons, a D-pad, two triggers, and two shoulder bumpers. It connects to the Shield via Wi-Fi Direct, charges over microUSB, and can accept a standard 3.5mm headphone input. The controller also features an integrated microphone, which lets you search, open apps, and more without the need to type. NVIDIA says that the controller can last for 40 hours of play on a single charge.

You can get the Shield Controller from the Google Store for $59.99.
