As well as releasing a video to show the year in search, Google has rounded up some of the most popular search terms across numerous topics.

A website dedicated to the year is now available on the Google domain, enabling visitors to explorer the wide range of stories and highlights that intrigued the world at some point or another. Here's the list of the top search trends of 2014, if you're interested:
