Samsung Gear 2 Neo

Developers looking to get their apps on Samsung's new Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo have a little treat waiting for them today — the Tizen SDK is now available. You can find it at http://developer.tizen.org.

Technically this one's called the Tizen SDK for wearables, and Samsung's boasting more than 100 partnerships already. Current apps include: Atooma, Banjo, Dacadoo, EasilyDo, Feedly, Focus Trainer, Glympse, iHeartRadio, iwunta (Cloudwear), Life360, Runtastic, Sleep Genius, Spritz, Strava, Vivino, CNN, Conde Nast, eBay, Expedia, Flick Dat, MapMyFitness (Under Armour), MyMusicCloud, and News Republic (Mobiles Republic).

For more on the Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, see our hands-on from Mobile World Congress.

Well I sure hope Google can come out with a smart watch that actually looks better than the rest of these god awful looking things. This is so ugly.

Have u seen them in person? I actually thougt the Galaxy Gear was pretty ugly until I saw it in a store the other day. I must say I really liked it. But it's definitely not everyone's taste.

Two reasons why that won't happen.
1.The first go round was Samsung only.
2. The changing of the OS.
