Microsoft has just updated its OneDrive cloud storage app for Android to include support for OneDrive for Business, allowing users to sign in with either their personal or business OneDrive accounts.

Here's the full change log for the new 2.7.0 version:

  • Pin code lock
  • OneDrive for Business support
  • Sign in with both your personal OneDrive and your OneDrive for Business accounts
  • Organize and open your OneDrive for Business files
  • Save new files to your OneDrive for Business account
  • Updates to camera backup
  • Open OneDrive files with the storage access framework

What do you think of OneDrive adding support for business users with this new Android update?

i installed the app because i have a business E-plan of office 365 with 1TB OneDrive for business but when i login with this mailaccount it says its not a valid one?

Is the app you downloaded version 2.7? If not, then you have the old app which may not support OneDrive for Business (which you're trying to use).
Wait for the app to be available as an update then try...it may be until tomorrow or the weekend before we can see the update on Play Store; could be even later today.

I just got the update for the app and to add the Business account you have to go into the settings and do it there.
