Nexus 7

Google is teaming up with Asus to offer a £50 Play Store credit in the UK along with a purchase of the 16 GB Nexus 7 2013. Customers purchasing from a variety of UK retailers like Asda , Carphone Warehouse, Currys, Tesco and Very are eligible to receive the Play Store credit. While this doesn't reduce the price of the already affordable tablet, it does help to sweeten the pot quite a bit.

The deal is valid until June 1st, and is applicable to both online orders as well as in-store purchases. If you purchased the Nexus 7 on or before the 5th of May, Asus has mentioned that it will honor the purchase and provide the £50 credit.

After buying the Nexus 7, you need to visit this link within 30 days to claim the credit. With a retail price of £199, the Nexus 7 2013 is one of the best value for money tablets currently available.

Buy a Nexus 7, get £50 in Google Play credit

I wish it was available for US, would give a reason to upgrade from my 1st gen Nexus 7, but I'm happy with it running CM11.

I bought one and found out you have to apply through the Asus website which I have done but not got anything back yet as it says it can take up to 30 days

I got my redeem code today from Asus for my £50 play store credit but after I copy and paste the code in to the store I am then told I can't redeem this in my country. I am in the same country as I bout my tablet in and have used the Google gift cards in the past without any problem.

Can anybody figure out what's going on

Stupid people at Asus sent out the wrong codes, they gave all the British customers USA codes.
Was told that they are working on it and will be in touch.
