that is true, the amazon app store, never offers good applications or even if you have coins available, there is nothing to spend them on.

Awesome. Going to get down with some Sonic right now.

Posted via AC App from my S4 mini WITH an LED CrackLight ;-)

A lot of these have been offered free previously, I've got several of them already in previous giveaways. But a good deal for folks who have missed out previously.

Thanks! I went to the site from my PC and discovered the same thing. And that is BS because my G2 is compatible for the same app when I check via Google Play.

Same here. Can anyone with an Amazon device check compatibility? I have a range of devices, though none are from Amazon. I'm curious if amazon is making (at least) this one for their devices only...

Thanks for the heads up. I bought all of them, installed none of them, just like most of the free apps that Amazon offers.

Last I remember reading, the Amazon App Store had some pretty serious security issues. It's why I uninstalled it from my phone.

So I just installed the amazon app store for the first time. Then I uninstalled it. That's the end of the story.

Damn, I just did some serious disabling/uninstalling last night on my G3. Unfortunately, the Amazon app store was one of them. Only DLed it for the Amazon app store which wasn't available on the playstore. Oh well!

Some of them seemed useful. The beauty of the app stores is you can buy them and never install them unless needed (like the kayak one)

Carcassonne is an awesome game. First learned about it on TableTop (wil wheaton's YouTube show about board games) and been obsessed with it since!

I've always wondered where all the hate for the Amazon App Store comes from. There IS an undeniable delay in getting updates compared to the play store, but it's usually not unbearable (unless you are talking about PVZ... shame on you Popcap/EA). It's easy to greenify, meaning no impact on your battery. For those that complain that you have to be logged into the app for it's related ones to work... that's an option the developer chooses... the same option that can be enabled on apps from the play store...

This particular group was have on repeats (only 13 weren't previously given away, and 2 of those were kindle only). On the whole, it's a nice pickup for those that have a kindle, or that have the store installed.

TIP: Even if you no longer have it installed, you can 'buy' it from the website. It's always associated with your account, and then if you find one day you could use one of these apps, it's already there and paid for...

Login to the Amazon App store on your computer to get the apps. I "purchased" all of the apps compatible with my devices. I may never use some of them but you never know. A least they are in my App store account for whatever may be needed in the future.

Had it....deleted it....uncomfortable with having to enable apps from unknown sources in settings

You do know that you can enable the setting, install the app store and then re-enable the setting again, right?

Thanks for the heads up so I didn't miss this sale. I did what I usually do for these. Go through the web site and "purchase" all of them but not install them on a a device. Not sure what's different about that Oxford dictionary for this particular version retails for voer $30.

Install Amazon App Store
Purchase App (Carcassonne)
Run Amazon Verification Stripping via Lucky Patcher
Uninstall Amazon App Store

The reason I do this is because that app runs all the time and I would never be using it. I hate bloatware, and the Amazon App Store seems to be just that.

Tried yesterday with my daughter's Galaxy Tab 3, created the account and before you are able to download, it asks you for your credit card information. I just stopped right there and deleted everything.

I'm not being ungrateful that amazon decided to give out android 1.6 apps or anything,or even that those apps are old as .... Thanks amazon but no.

I read on the internet that amazon only gave those shizzy apps to steal your info, and then make android look like a virus infested os, the same with iOS they spend millions on installing bugs and stuff for android, I would ;)... Obviously everything I said is BS.
