Samsung introduces the Level U Bluetooth headset for $79

Samsung has introduced a new headset into their lineup of Level audio products, the Level U, a set of Bluetooth earbuds. The Level U headset wraps around the back of the wearer's neck, similar to the LG Tone Infinim headset. The Level U comes in to colors in the US: black sapphire and white.

For call clarity, the Samsung Level U headset features two microphones. You speak into one, while the other collects and blocks noise from your environment. This is useful not only for phone conversations, but the Level U's voice commands, which are enabled through Samsung's Level app. The commands can notify you about missed calls, alarms, and even the U's remaining battery.

Speaking of battery, Samsung says that the Level U can provide 10 hours of audio playback, 11 hours of talk time, and 500 hours of standby. It's charged through a 5-pin port in the flexible neckband.

The Samsung Level U are available now for $66.95 through Amazon or $69 directly from Samsung. It's likely that they will make their way to other retailers in the near future.
