Google Play Store

Google is now accepting payments in Brazilian Real (BRL) for the purchase of Android apps and games in the Google Play Store. New Brazilian Google Play developer accounts will automatically use BRL as their default currency from now on.

Merchants who sell apps in Brazil and get payouts in currencies other than BRL will have 25 percent of the purchase amount withheld for government taxes. That includes Brazil-based developers who decide to keep taking payments in US dollars. Local developers must also have a bank account located in Brazil in order to accept payments in BRL.
