NASA

Just in time for the final space shuttle launch, NASA has released an official app. It features NASA twitter feeds from around the agency, live streaming of NASA TV, current NASA mission information, and a whole lot more. So, if you need to get your outer space fix while on the go, be sure to download this free application from the Android market today! Download links available after the break.

Retiring the shuttle without a next generation vehicle ready to go is probably one of the most idiotic and disappointing things ever. This app being so buggy is also disappointing.

Is there going to be Space program anymore after the last shuttle is retired? If not, then what's the point of making "an app for that"?

I was being facetious, very well aware of the unmanned probes out there, but I hope, DEARLY hope, that if NASA isn't going to continue their manned space programs, that the commercial/private industries start to step up big time. It's 2011, let's show it!

What else is NASA involved in. It's called the NATIONAL AERONAUTIC SPACE PROGRAM, right? No space program equals doing what?

They took a couple of iPhairy 4's into space with them. I hope their fancy Shuttle doesn't crash! Damn autocorrect, I meant to say fancy Shuffle!
