The second-generation Chromebook Pixel is launching in the UK this month and will be available on April 21. Prices start from £799 for the Intel Core i5 version.

What's more is Currys PC World is partnering up with Google to offer the new laptops, which will also be available online on the Google Store. As noted above, pricing for the entry model will set you back by £799, while the Core i7 version will cost you £999. They're both Wi-Fi only too, so don't expect to connect to carrier networks unless you have a dongle or smartphone nearby.

As well as the latest Intel processors, the Chromebook Pixel also come with 8GB or 16GB of RAM, USB-C ports, as well as 32GB and 64GB internal storage configurations. The Chromebook Pixel will likely be featured at the Google store-within-a-store location inside the London Currys PC World store on Tottenham Court Road, where both companies have partnered to offer a unique Google experience for consumers looking to invest in products.
