The mobile apps for Google Docs, Sheets and Slides are increasing in power with each update, and today's releases now support more desktop-class features. Google Docs gains real-time spellchecking as you type and edit, while Sheets now lets you hide specific rows and columns and Slides gains the ability to group shapes in your presentations.

The updates are simple, but with apps as robust as these we're at the point where Google is adding very specific features to round out the functionality. The updates will be rolling out starting today, and you can grab each one from the Google Play Store at the links below.
