For those of you unfamiliar with Vainglory, the game is crafted in the traditional MOBA style, but is fully is optimized for touch screens. In the game, players control a hero of their choice as part of a 3-man team tasked with destroying a crystal at the enemy team's base. Along the way, players can upgrade their heroes as their team clashes in real-time battles with the opposition.

The developers note that at launch, the closed beta is limited to a certain number of high-end Android devices in the Samsung Galaxy and Google Nexus families, along with the NVIDIA Shield Tablet.

Super Evil Megacorp's Vainglory Launching Android Closed Beta

he developers of Vainglory, the MOBA perfected for touch that is revolutionizing the genre for mobile devices, today are launching an Android closed beta program. Players interested in jumping into the battle arena early may apply for the closed beta beginning March 5 here, which will be then followed by an open beta program. The game currently boast over 18 thousand five-star reviews on the App Store with players averaging over 75 minutes in the app per day.
