Samsung has rubbished Bloomberg's report from yesterday stating that the vendor would cut 10 percent of the workforce at its corporate headquarters.

South Korea's Yonhap News, quoting a high-ranking Samsung official, states that a portion of the workers will be relocated, with no job cuts expected at its headquarters for the time being.

However, in light of a 37.5 percent decrease in operating income in the second quarter, Samsung will freeze salaries of its employees this year, making it the first time since 2009 the vendor has done so.
