Microsoft seems to be making a bigger effort to support Android apps. Recently it made a deal with Samsung and other hardware companies to pre-load Microsoft apps on their Android devices. Here's what Microsoft has to say about the new Office Delve app, which is only for business Office 365 subscribers:

These mobile apps can notify you about updates to files you are actively engaged with at any given time. You can even receive notifications on your connected Android Wear. With a single swipe, you can catch up on what's new and relevant to your day—no matter where you are— with pivots on content and people.

In the past few months Microsoft has launched Android-exclusive apps such as the Picturesque lock screen and the Keyboard for Excel app. It has also added Dropbox support for Android Office users to store their documents.
