The free lettrs app (yes, there's no capital letters in its name), which offers a more personal way to create messages and share them with others, is now available for Android devices via both Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

lettrs, which was previously released for iOS a few months ago, is designed to give messages a more handwritten look, and includes a number of different themes, fonts and photo attachments to help achieve that goal. It also supports digital pens for true hand written messages. lettrs states:

Innovating the power of the digital pen, lettrs also releases the market's first-ever "social signature" which enables writers to deliver unique autographs with fine pen capabilities like that of a digital quill. Android users can create letters that are personalized, elegant, fun, engaging and now signed as digital memorabilia.

Messages from the lettrs app can be shared via Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and Google+. The new Android version includes a number of new features including geo-location stamping of signed letter messages, a tagging system, and more.

What do you think of this new lettrs app making its Android debut?
