Google IO

Can't get enough of Google IO? Google's developer conference has just announced expanded dates -- moving from two days in April to June 27-29. The conference will still take place in San Francisco, at Moscone Center West.

the question is...will we still get devices afterward :)

My first thought was "they're cutting it very close to WWDC" but then I remembered they use the same venue so this might work as one long trip if WWDC is within a week of this :D

They probably moved the dates to June so they can be ready to announce the real launch of the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon by that time.

"In the meantime, be sure to brush up on your coding skills. They’ll come in handy when the new application process opens in February. That’s all we can tell you for now, but we’d advise against making travel arrangements until then."

Look like they will be trying to ward off all the non-devs attending the conference.

Good. I'm not a dev but it just makes sense that devs should have priority over others for attending something like this. It might also ward off those pesky eBay'ers.
