Google Docs for Android grabbed an update today that brings a couple of new features that make it easier to review a document before you dive in to make edits.

Today's Google Docs update makes it slightly easier to quickly pop into a document and give it a read without having the editing tools get in your way. Upon opening a document, it will essentially be in "read mode," with the toolbars disappearing as you start to scroll down, allowing the text to take up the full screen. If you decide you need to edit something, all you have to do is tap the floating blue pencil icon to bring up the editing toolbar and get cracking.

The update is currently rolling out, but hasn't yet hit our devices at the time of this writing. However, it should be hitting devices soon, so feel free to check for the update from the Google Play badge above.
