Samsung Slider for AT&T

Seems like Samsung sliders are everywhere these days. We just brought you new pics of a Samsung slider with Verizon branding and now a new one has surfaced. There's really not much to say other than "look at the pic." BGR's source says this is destined for AT&T, and that's about it. Looks like a Samsung slider. No word on if it'll be destined for AT&T's upcoming LTE network, or if it'll be 4G HSPA+* but it's also rumored to be AT&T's next "flagship phone," so maybe we'll be surprised.

El Jefe says:

Doesn't AT&T need to *start* on a LTE network before we talk about them getting LTE phones?

BrianTufo says:

No joke! Their intial offering is what...3 or 4 cities? And they might put out an LTE phone? Wow!

you guys didn't see the asterisk and the "with enhanced backhaul" line did you? i thought it was genius!

No dedicated number keys? booooo.

I know. I own the Epic which is Sammys first great Qwerty phone. I love having a dedicated number row. I would think about switching to ATT for this one if had a fifth row and was LTE ready. Its the only Sammy Qwerty phone with dual core, 8 meg cam and Super Amoled plus screen. Even Verizons new Qwerty doesn't. Hae all that.

if this is the ATT version of the Galaxy S 2, I will be 1 pissed off dude.

Look nice, but i just dont want a keyboard

RoninX says:

On the other hand, I do want a keyboard, and if this is the GS2, I might actually consider switching to AT&T... (maybe)

dr.w says:

I wish it was the GS2 "pro" but the GS2 is 4.3" and even the Epic with a 4" screen has a 5 row keyboard. With just a 4 row keyboard I'm afraid this is going to be no more than 4" and probably less. Making it most likely a mid-range phone.

Which sucks, because I would love a high end (4.3" or bigger) phone with a real keyboard.

Looks like a CGI render, specifically the part where the film is partially peeled away.

It honestly looks pretty neat

Jonneh says:

My first thought is Galaxy S II for AT&T.
It'd be nice for a change to have a keyboard on it.

I love Swype so much on my Epic 4G (Galaxy S 1) that I never use the slide out keyboard. But when I do, I love having a dedicated number row. Big misstep in this one... oh well, someone will like it.
