Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition

There are so many groups and organizations that certify devices for compatibility and safety, so it's not terribly surprising when one of those groups publishes data on something that's yet to be announced — like Android 4.4.3. Earlier this week saw Sprint announcing an update to Android 4.4.3 for the Nexus 5, and today it's the Bluetooth Special Interest Group's turn. In this case it's another "Google" device, the Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition.

The device is said to be running software version KTU72.S1.3013, where KTU72 is a reference to Android 4.4.3. The update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat is likely only a maintenance release with a package of bug fixes, performance improvements, and the like.

Android 4.4.3 tipped for Sony Z Ultra Google Play edition by Bluetooth SIG

I would love to get my hands on 4.4.3
.2 has been quirky. Hopefully the ROMs start filing out soon! Or maybe I'll go for a new GPE phone.

Let's clear one thing up, Sprint screwed up by announcing the update for the Nexus5, cause it never happened to any Sprint customer, or any other carrier customer, secondly Sprint has taken down the info they had posted, you can no longer find it on the update software support page. Now was this their doing or googles who knows, bottom line is no one got blessed with 4.4.3 while having a Nexus 5 in this past week. Surprised that AC never followed up on that story!

Sprint released what google told them. Google is at fault and should have clarified.

Non of us really know who is at fault, whether Google or Sprint, since all parties have been mum on the whole situation.

Pretty sure that one is taking longer because of t-mobile
Z1 has a 4.4 update out.
I don't think t-mobile has even got the Z off of 4.2 and 4.3 been out for months and months.
