AT&T will allow customers at 125 of its retail stores in the US to get up close and personal with the Samsung Gear S smartwatch starting on Friday, September 26, before the device goes on sale sometime later this fall.
Samsung announced late on Tuesday that AT&T would join with Verizon Wireless, Sprint and T-Mobile in selling the smartwatch. However, AT&T is currently the only carrier among the four that is letting its customers check out the Tizen-based Gear S before it is released.
Pricing and a more specific release date for the Samsung Gear S have not been announced by AT&T or the other three carriers. If you live near one of the stores, will you check out the Gear S?
