Google is making it easier to find family-friendly content on the Play Store

Google is making it easier for parents to find family-friendly content in the Play Store. The company is implementing a new system that offers filtered app and content results, sorted by age groups, and appropriate results will now have the new Family Star on them. In addition to sorting by age, customers will also be able to sort by popular characters.

All of this is supported by new parental controls and stronger password protection, keeping any inappropriate content away from your device. Apps that are ad-supported will also be labeled in the store.
