Following Motorola and HTC, Samsung has started to decouple its exclusive apps and launch them on the Play Store, making it easier for users to update to new versions when they're available.

S Health

Previously available only on the Galaxy Apps Store, Samsung's activity tracking S Health app has now landed on the Play Store. The app syncs with compatible Galaxy devices to track steps, heart rate, stress levels, sleep activity and caloric intake. Currently, the app only works with select Samsung devices running Android 5.0 and later.

Availability of the app on the Play Store allows users on older devices that have received the update to Android 5.0 to take advantage of the redesigned user interface of S Health, which debuted on the Galaxy S6. Here's what's on offer:
