Google will give app developers what they are calling Universal App Campaigns, which should offer a better way to promote apps with Google's services.
During the Google I/O keynote address today in San Francisco, the company announced what they called Universal Ad Campaigns, which offers app developers a way to set how much they are willing to spend for ads, so that the right ads will appear in the right places.
With one set of parameters, Android developers will be able to launch a campaign to advertise their app in Search, AdMob and YouTube. You can select how much you want to spend and where you want to spend it, and Google will handle all of the details. It will be launching some time in the next few months.
Stay tuned as we will continue to post updates from today's Google I/O keynote event.
