Adult content

In an ocean of apps done poorly, these rise to the top

If you're reading this, chances are you have an awesome pocket computer running Android at your disposal. Today's Android phones and tablets can pretty much do anything, and that includes things of an adult nature. We want to help you find and see that content the best way possible.

We're not here to condone or condemn anyone or anything — and by all means let's keep things legal — but we feel that adults using their Androids to peruse adult content is just fine and dandy. We bet a good number of you guys and gals feel the same way.

If you don't agree, that's cool, too. We also are firm believers in the "live and let live" philosophy, and fully respect your opinion and support your right to have it. We also advise you to not click through the break if you think you might be offended. We love you regardless.

Don't worry, we're not trying to push any boundaries or limits (too terribly far), we just want to share a list of the best ways to find and browse adult content on Android. And do it in an adult way.

Namaste my friend. Namaste.

MiKandi

MiKandi app for Android

If you're looking for a bit of everything sexy, kinky or naughty, MiKandi is where you'll want to start. Simply put, it's the best place to get curated adult theme applications for Android. Whether you want something silly that involves jiggling boobs, or want to see some gritty adult movie action, MiKandi has you covered.

MiKandi is its own app store, and uses its own virtual currency system. You'll find plenty of things that are free and every taste is covered. You will need to register with MiKandi to download and install apps, but there's really no reason not to. Millions of others have, and they don't spam you or share your details. It's worth it to know that you're installing apps that have been weeded through and the malware and garbage was thrown out.

  • To install the free MiKandi store, fire up the browser on your phone and head right here

Planet Pron

Planet Pron app for Android

If you're just looking for adult imagery without any games or fluff, Planet Pron is a great place to look. Videos and pictures from a huge selection of categories are presented in a native Android app with full use of the hardware of your device.

There are no pop-ups and no malware like one would find on a typical "adult" website, and you can even sign up for Pro and Premium membership to get full speed HD streaming. Content is updated every day, and you'll probably find exactly what you're looking for.

  • The Planet Pron app is free, and you can install it by surfing right here on your phone's web browser

Weed Maps Marijuana Strains

Weed Maps

Just because you aren't allowed to do it where you live, doesn't mean it's not OK elsewhere. An important part of cannabis legalization is to treat it properly, and support legal vendors who aren't selling a dime-bag to your kids.

Again, folks. If it's not legal where you're at, don't do it.

That said, Weed Maps is wonderfully done, and will help you locate what you're looking for in the places where it's legal to sell it. You won't find anything about Craigslist dealers or shady online operations here.

Weed Maps not only helps you find where to buy Marijuana, it also tells you about discounts, exclusive offers and daily deals. Add in a section for reviews and a social network, and you have the makings of a great app for connoisseurs.

Mixology Drink Recipes

Mixology

If you're going to have a drink or two, remember a few important things. First of all, you need to be a responsible adult. We don't condone or endorse underage drinking, nor do we want anyone to place themselves or anyone in danger. The next important thing is to learn to make a good drink.

That's where Mixology comes in. Thousands of recipes for just about any flavor of adult beverage are included, and sorting through them is dead simple. Browse by category, or tell the app what you have on hand and you'll find just the right recipe for a perfect cocktail. Or get adventurous and click that random tab — you might find something new. You can also find your local liquor store and learn a bit about just how to use common bartending tools to make that perfect drink.

The app is free, and if you're serious about mixing up those drinks a paid version is available.

Down

Down

Formerly known as Bang With Friends, Down is the dating app to help you find people who are Down for, erhm, it.

You sign in with Facebook, select friends who you want to get down with, and the app notifies them about you if they're also using Down. The developers promise to never post anything to Facebook under your name, and everything is discreet — only people also interested in getting Down even know you're using the app. As a bonus, if you're looking for something a bit more tangible that just getting down, you can also fish for folks to have a date with. With over 1.7 million users, there's a good chance someone you know wants to get Down.

Down is free, and requires a Facebook profile to do anything.

BaconReader for Reddit

Bacon Reader

While Reddit is plenty popular with folks of all ages, there are parts that are absolutely NSFW and filled with content of an adult nature. We love an open and free Internet, so we're glad they are there. And we want you to be able to browse them the best way possible. Of course, the best way to see the not-so-kid-friendly content is also the best way to see all of what Reddit has to offer.

That's BaconReader. Subreddit grouping, filtering by domain and keywords, image uploading should you want to contribute and a great slideshow mode if you just want to look make BaconReader the best and most popular way to read Reddit — all of Reddit.

BaconReader is free and also looks great on your tablet!

Chanu - 4chan for Android

Chanu

Maybe Reddit is a bit to tame for you, and you want to go to the darkest pit of the Internet. You'll find that at 4chan. We won't judge /b/ro. We just want you to see 4chan the best way you can.

Chanu is that best way. You can favorite the boards you frequently visit, post replies or new threads using images from the web, your photos or right from your camera and even create watchlists to keep track of those threads where you don't want to miss a single post. Chanu even supports 4chan Pass for all the power users out there. The best part — it's also great for the excellent "safe" content you'll find at 4chan.

Chanu is free, and is optimized for both phones and tablets.

There are countless ways to see adult content on your Android out there, covering a broad range of subject matter. This is our list of the best of the best, and ones we feel confident to recommend. Be sure to tell us in the comments if you know another we should have a look at. Sorting through apps is a tough job, and we always love hearing input about great stuff we need to check out.

The best adult apps for Android [NSFW]

I had a great time reading this article.

But, Google'ing SexTube Apk will get better results.

Posted via the LG G2 Android Central App

Yea but i appreciate the fact they posted links to apps that were known to be malware free since that's what mostly anything on Google will take you too these days.
Giving people options without risks is always helpful. If the one you listed is of the same category and also clean of malicious files, I'm sure it is a great addition as well.

Was it really necessary to write an entire article on porn apps? I feel like the time writing this could've been spent better on actual devices and such. Unless, of course, this was an excuse for Jerry to fap. Good cover, Jerry.

Wow, if you took the time to read the Heading instead of looking for porn, you would have not missed that it reads Adult Apps, not Porn Apps. Grow up.

More people will probably read this article over the next few years than any other article AC has ever written, so I'd say Jerry met a demand of many current and future android users. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it isn't a wanted read by many.

Looks like someone is a bit insecure. I'm a grown adult, in happy relationship, and I still found this article to have tangible uses for everyone. Not everyone on this planet is a prude, and as the article stated, just because it doesn't interest you, doesn't mean it doesn't interest anyone else.
Why even open the article if you knew it wasn't something that interests you? Sorry no new phones were released late at night on a Friday in the middle of August. Go to bed.
Posted via Android Central App

So unfortunately correct and this is one of the worst things that the internet gives us. Stop meddling with other people lives, people!

Posted via the Android Central App

In fairness, the end didn't give away that it was a joke either. It merely came across (no pun intended) as a snide or snarky ending to an otherwise serious comment.

It's always good to comment without reading the actual article.

The majority of the apps aren't actually porn related, I actually downloaded mixology because of this article.

"Adult" doesn't just mean "porn" or even "sex" (though they're fun too).

Posted via Android Central App

They pretty much asked you to go away if you were uptight about it, but you just couldn't, could you?

Posted from my Nexus 5 via Android Central App

Although I likely won't be downloading these apps, it's information that some people would like to know. There are plenty of apps that are full of malware and Jerry is pointing out some of the safest options available. I find it very informative. Thanks Jerry.

lol Jerry it was a joke, I had to have a apparent negative stance on the article for the last bit to work

Posted via the 64 GB OnePlus One

Do I have to be to point out the fact you said something was stupid? If so, I should have been getting paid by Jerry loooonggggg ago.

:)

As someone who often makes a joke or two that gets me in hot water, I understand completely.

Never stop having a sense of humor, even if we all miss it lol.

rgao007 is incapable of reading let alone comprehending.

Even the title says "adult" apps, not porn.

Unfortunately there is little effort to eliminate a small but vocal group of morons and loosers who have nothing but time to post on and degrade these forums.

Oh no . . . People like to watch porn . . . Whatever will this lead to? More war, more famine?! This site becoming purely a 'porn' site?!!!!!!! (despite the fact half the apps listed aren't even porn related of course).

Also, there is only so much news about devices that can be repeated over and over, and as I recall, apps are a pretty important part of android. Grow up a little eh.

How wrong you are!

(sarcasm warning)

Each and every review (and associated stories) about a new device with a:

--fast processor
--LTE
--WIFI
--Sensors
--xxxx mah battery
--some RAM
--some storage
--good looking/high-res screen
--decent quality camera (not dslr quality though)
--subjective size and physical design
--subjective software skin and "features"

Every one of those articles just gets more and more interesting, every time.

We just buy phones, unbox them on youtube, then we brag on the interwebs how our new phone totally pwns everyone else's phone. C'mon man! It's all about competitive-consumerism these days! Then we dump them on some poor sucker who doesn't know better, on swappa. Then we get the next phone to pwn them all. Why would we waste time loading apps and doing fun or entertaining things (or even useful things, although that is not the subject of this article)?

We have some pwning to do!

(sarcasm, again, in case anyone forgot)

Did you have to read the article in the first place? If you didn't want to read it you didn't have to click it or read it. You opted to make the choice and went on to complain about your disgust over the article. Perhaps next time you just don't read it and move on.

Despite the fact that a lot of people already attacked you without understanding you and then attacked your explanation.. So they would feel good about themselves because they didnt get the joke (The internetz)... And still do not understand because they got sooo defensive about something that didn't even attack them.. Or anyone for that matter.. Because it was a clear joke and it flew over everyone's heads/ I'm here to say:

Omg how could you say that! It isn't your right to attack someone for writing their article.. Yadayadayada; it said it wasn't porn.. Yadayadayada; you didn't read the full article, yadayadayada; I'm important now because i defended the author of the article. Yadayadayada.

Now im like everyone else. Needing to repeat comments that everyone has already said. I am important. And this cost me 2 minutes. I wonder how much it will cost me if i and everyone else repeat ourselves for a dumb reason on every article....

Posted via Android Central App

every so often, androidcentral writes on article on adult apps. whether it's porn or other adult things. it's not the first time. i've been reading androidcentral for years, and i think this is the 3rd or 4th time of seen an article like this. it's no big deal. a lot of people are interested in this stuff. it's like, i'm not interested when the guys here write an article about anything kindle fire related, ya know?

so i don't click on it.

Seriously.... Android Central has come to this? Grow up dude.. you're not a fricking hormonal teenager. Oooh look... I have naked girls on my phone... jiggling boobs and pot leaves for a wallpaper. Please!

I personally have no interest in any of these apps and if anybody asked me I'd tell them that they should refrain from doing anything with them either.

Since nobody asked for my opinion I'm not going to give it and you shod try doing the same. The article was interesting to me but merited no reason to dog Jerry for it. I think it was well written and gave enough warning that if you were not interested that you move on. You could treat this article as I do iPhone articles. Move on if not interested.

Posted via Android Central App

Grandpa Greg has spoken. Now go take your Ex-Lax, you seem to be full of... As someone who actually is a grandfather, I found the article well written and informative. Thanks Jerry.

Shoulda just asked your grandkids what the good adult apps are, you know they know! :)

Posted via Android Central App

Where was the pot leaf wallpaper app in the list? Hang on, are you just ranting incoherently due to some perceived slight against your uptight life? And yes, if you can't accept that people like porn on their phones or anywhere they can watch it in peace, or some people have a need for medical weed, then you are definitely uptight.

There's delicious irony in someone who's argument essentially boils down to "stop liking what I don't like" telling someone to "grow up", isn't there?

Posted via Android Central App

You do realize that very often articles are written to inform people what is out there and not directly associated with the writers personal likes,  No need to attack the Jerry just because you don't like the content. Your high horse... get off it.

Now that this post is several day d I can say, especially to you, that you do know that further down he said his wife helped right... Lol

Posted via Android Central App

Part of growing up is realizing sex is a part of life and being perfectly fine with that. Never understood why embracing sexuality is considered IMMATURE.

Agreed. I skip the vast majority of articles here because I'm not interested. And I don't feel the need to drop into the comments & tell people how much I don't like the articles.

Posted via Android Central App

Great article Jerry. Informative as usual and well written as always. Like the apps or not, they are a part of the Android ecosystem. Don't think I'll use any, but thanks for informing us what's out there.

Posted via Android Central App

Can't please everyone Jerry nice article I use mixology already and if you don't like it go to imore I'm pretty there closed ecosystem will have something more SFW for you

Posted via Android Central App

This is an unnecessary article. Bad form, AC. As a person of Christian faith, I think it is irresponsible on your part to write this article. My daughter, who is an android fan, uses your app and reads your articles. Why would you post an article linking to adult content on an app that users at any age can access?

Posted via Android Central App

There's all kinds of content out there a simple Google search will show anything if your that worried about that maybe your child shouldn't have a smart phone where anything can be found by a simple search

If you don't want to read such content on the Internet, the onus is on you to remove yourself from it. Not the other way around. It really is that simple. Clearly you don't give your daughter a lot of credit to do the same either.

Posted via Android Central App

I'm a person of Christian faith. I don't see the problem. If it doesn't apply to you, move on. People will swallow a camel but gag on a gnat. Your kid has a smartphone. He/she can search for whatever they want.

Posted via Android Central App

I don't know about that. I never got anything but money for a tip when I was delivering pizzas.

Posted via Android Central App

Religion isn't made up, it's created by people. god on the other hand is most likely an imaginary being.

Posted via Android Central App

You know I wasn't going to comment on this article but congratulations dude, you pushed me over the line. First off just going on the internet can lead to adult content and I guess you missed the fact that the Android central app is listed as medium maturity, here is what that means https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/188189?hl=en

Secondly "as a Christian" I hope you defended Jerry a few months when he posted an article about an updated bible app because as he said at the time its of interest to some user (like you I assume) its used by many people and it got a nice update. And guess what Jerry did a good job presenting the app even though he is an atheist (shock, horror).

You are aware that your daughter's smartphone has access to the Internet correct? It is your job to raise her with what you "think" are moral behaviors, not Jerry's. Grow up and take the responsibility to raise your child yourself instead of blaming other people for acknowledging things that exist in the real world.

My AC App signature lacks a witty comment.

As another person of Christian faith, I try not to judge people with whom I don't agree. Pretty sure that it's in the Bible.
As a parent, I also don't let my children get their morals the Internet.

Posted via Android Central App

I think you're over reacting, but there probably should be at least one of those "enter your birthday" pop ups to view it..

That fixes the accidental chance of someone coming in and going to a link, and if they go past that, well they would find it easily elsewhere too.

It isn't like he posted actual porn on the site, it was a link with a clear NSFW tag and a very clear opening statement to what was inside the argument even before the break.

You guys don't have to read the article plain and simple just ignore it and move on

Posted via Android Central App

I love reading these articles just for the uptight brigade that always shows up. No matter how much warning you give them, they always come in and piss all over the place (not that there's anything wrong with that, if you're into it).

Great article. To those who feel like it's no place for articles like these on AC. I could just as easily get upset at articles about the best apps for toddlers, or the best apps for selfies, or the millions of things about smartphones and apps I'm not interested in. But then I realize that the world does not revolve around me and I'm not the only person that reads AC.

Posted via Android Central App

The biggest disappointment about this article is that it makes it seem like porn is fun and benign, when in fact, whether you are married or single, porn destroys families. As someone with a direct link to marriage and family therapy, I've seen it over and over. No one is immune to the damaging effects of porn. Sorry if you get offended at this, it's the truth.

Posted via Android Central App

So porn + marriage = therapy from someone with a direct link to family therapy? That's not a surprise. There are people out there that can responsibly handle both of those and therefore would not necitiate 3rd party assistance.

If we judge our world on only what we see, we will not paint a very accurate picture.

Posted via the Android Central App

Your comment is accurate and I'll back you on it. Granted nobody asked for the opinion, it was given respectfully with accurate info.

App or not the truth was spoken.

Posted via Android Central App

I am sorry but you are wrong.

It is not the object (in this case porn) that is the cause of strife it is the using of that object to excess.

There is nothing wrong with everything in moderation. It is the excesses that cause issues. How about if we start taking a little personal responsibility instead of blaming objects for our issues?

I guess the better France would be the addiction to porn...

Some watch it and seek their wives with unrealistic expectations and some even don't seek their wives at all due to their addiction.

Posted via Android Central App

Posting an article that has a couple of links to apps with adult-related content hardly is condoning porn addiction....

All the lives destroyed by other drugs and porn added together don't come close to equaling the lives and marriages destroyed by booze.

Addiction to anything can be bad. But just because an addiction is bad shouldn't condemn the object of the addiction. (Personally, I'm addicted to dihydrogen oxide. Nasty stuff, but I just can't seem to live without it.)

Posted via Android Central App

We are all part of a society that will undoubtedly contain things we dislike or do not agree with. Truly mature individuals understand this and can move along with minimal offense taken. If that isn't you then I suggest unplugging yourself from the connected world and moving to a remote area. This doesn't apply to just the internet as even a neighbor has the potential to do something you may view as amoral.

Have fun in the woods.

Posted via the Android Central App

Nothing wrong with this article but if you guys could refrain from doing too many of this type that would be awesome. As someone who sells Android devices for a living I would love to continue to use my work computer and visit your site lol

Posted via Android Central App

I am just gonna reiterate what the other poster said, they are few and far between, mostly done on the weekend to avoid most of the work issues. I know that may not pertain to you (might have to work weekends) but it is all pretty low key.

Right, and like I said, it's not like he actually posted porn or anything. Simply a list of a couple of apps where you could access such information. These apps were not even listed prior to making the break and opening the article. These people just looking for something to get uptight about.

Small correction, they are already uptight and just looking to express that the fake outrage that they have should be shared with everyone, whether others believe it or not (but they had better believe it or more fake outrage)

Man I hate how prude some people are. We are the land of the over offended.

As a married couple with adult kid out of house the wife and I enjoy adult stuff. Good article Jerry.

Posted via Android Central App

AC is a complete website covering the banal to the anal (sorry couldn't walk away from that joke)

I enjoy the fact that AC is not willing to shy away from any topic whether it be controversial or not. Yesterday was a good example. They tackled the stupid permissions thing, through out a rumor, taught us how to use a few apps/games and then showed us how to relax at the end of the day. That is end to end if I ever heard it.

Thanks AC...

Almost everything labeled as "adult" content is dumb.. I mean really what else is there? You can have sex, watch porn, smoke and/or drink horrible beverages..

Sadly it seems that's all there is to life for some people. I'm totally supportive of your right to act as foolish as you want as long as you hurt nobody else however (but this is not the same as condoning it).

I was hoping for more travel, dining and adventure type stuff.

Why do people refrain from talking or reading anything pertaining to pornography? They always seem to squirm in their seats whenever any sexual stuff is talked about on a tech site. I mean, people do use their phones for watching porn or whatever, isn't it so? But they have to act old or naive! Weird world it is!

Posted via Android Central App

Thanks for posting an article that will ruin many more marriages and lives.

Posted via the Android Central App

I don't know about these people. They must have some marriages that are very very weak. It would take a lot more than the internet to break me and my wife apart. Like a whole lot more.

ಠ益ಠ

They are probably the same marriages that are destroyed by marriage equality.

Posted via Android Central App

Great article the comments did bother me some (being a Christian) the Bible says do not judge so if you're truly concerned about the people who are using these apps why not suggest an alternative instead of telling them how YOU feel what they are doing makes them crap (but that's a soap box for someone else). Plus it's not like you don't know porn is out there and being on ac I assume you have a little knowledge on the capabilities of smartphones now they're "computers in our pocket" and if Google search has taught us anything it's that you can just "Google it" and find an answer in a short amount of time. So parents don't get upset when you're informed of these apps bc there is a good chance your kid(s) has already found them if that's what they're interested in, spend time with your kids and be involved in their lives so they understand YOUR morals and trust that you raised them to make the right decision when they read a title or get pressured into trying to do something by their peers.

Not aware of an alternative to porn? Spend more time with your wife and kids for those that have them is a good start though..

Posted via the Android Central App

Yeah I actually had to edit it because my usual response is just the first sentence....

Caught myself before the wildfires started.

I am part of the new "comment crew" cutting down Profane/abusive language, racist comments, and spam. I (and some others) cover AC and I also do iMore. Granting me access to delete comments has also given me a new commenting toolbox which I have a few extra things I can do. I also figured out how to post a picture/gif but I have been advised not to do so. Though it is quite tempting lol

ಠ益ಠ

Well I read a lot of AC and iMore articles and it is a simple as clicking on the comment and hitting delete.  I will say clicking on the spammers comment history and finding all the articles they spammed and deleting them all is quite satisfying.

Yeah I do not hit iMore or the others unless it is important (like a trade show or major release) but I need to make more of an effort for work. I guess I get bored with them since a lot of it is old hat to Android (or maybe i am just that biased which is entirely possible). I really have to become more in tune with Connectedly so you will see me over there more.

I wondered if you had to delete each post or an account wipe. Do you get to "ban" the spammers as well or just delete the crud?

This is still new and they are working out the kinks. As of right now I can ONLY delete obvious spam, Profane/abusive language, and racist comments. Anything in the grey area gets reported to higher ups. I am not a comment moderator more just a garbage man.

ಠ益ಠ

Are links to blogs obvious spam? We have had quite a few of those lately. The blog is off topic and quite frankly wrong about the info

While as a Christian I'm fine with articles like this being put up. Such is the world today amongst other things. As a logical man I'm a bit more concerned though. There is a vast amount of research that shows the negative impact of porn as well as how many of those watchers are far more than a "casual" user especially amongst young people. It also significantly advances the unrealistic standards for women that are truly pathetic. Should be noted at the very least. I'll see myself out now =).

Well done. Always interesting to see the predictable backlash and inevitable sophomoric humor that an article like this produces. The article was done in a non-judgmental, tongue-in-cheek (errr), slightly clinical manner that contained no prurient or lurid content, just the facts. Interest in these topics is part of human nature and will not go away. An article is this nature provides a valuable service as it protects users from the many criminal schemes that prey on those that wish to view this content.

Good job Jerry. You obviously knew you would have to hear all this trash talk before you even wrote the article.

Posted via Android Central App

Yeah, I figured some people wouldn't like this post. I tried my hardest to let them know that it's OK not to like it, and the best thing they can do is not click through. But ...

To me, any good app is worth talking about. I never judge anyone's tastes.

Whee ere all these "as a Christian" replies when an app is features violence and killing, oh yeah they are the ones complaining about no art support and iap. But the mere mention of sex and we all go crazy

One site that is so accessible and should mention is Tumblr. Honestly have not seen so much porn on a basic and popular social site.

Posted via Android Central App

Come for the article, stay for the comments.

It's good to know there are places out there to get porn on your phone/tablet that are safe and malware free. Thanks Jerry for this valuable information.

As an addition, PornHub's mobile site works with chromecast, which is great. Yet another reason to have a chromecast.

Posted via Android Central App

this is the best article ever written on this site. not because its well written (which it is) but because someone had the balls to do it. even if it was all "porn" which its not, SEX IS NOT A BAD THING you freaks. we all do it andhaving a good safe way to view it should be important. good on you jerry and phil for letting you do it. its about time adults start acting like adults. im an adult, not a dult.(see what i did there)( yuk what a hack) anywho cheers jerry, you depraved alchoholic #%@head you. bonzaiiiiiiiiii

I am amazed at how closed minded people can be. This is useful information. Whether you choose to download is up to you. A while back AC got rid of some interesting wallpapers due to backlash. Why?? As my grandmother used to say" If something is not your cup of tea, drink coffee, but let m enjoy my tea. "

Posted via Android Central App

This is a useful and informative article! The warning part is long, but uniquely interesting, didn't skip that either... ;)
Thanks for sharing it! And I say this as a happy mother, wife, android fan, Christian, and yeah, adult too. The order depends on the time of day ;)

I forgot about Beacon Reader. I have a Reddit account but never find time to use it. I used the one for Windows Phone when I was trying the phone out as a Zune replacement. This will be great to read when I am at work on break or lunch. Lord knows I can not look at my tumblr at work! Google+ is usually my go to app but I think this will change when I use this app. Thank you AC!

I am wondering whether Sony Xperia phones would be the best devices for running the NSFW apps because they're waterproof and splashproof :-)

why bother to write ur speech? when others might not read it...u know what i lookin for at the comments? THE BLUE TEXT..thats it
