Google: The Year in Entertainment

Candy Crush Saga is the No. 1 game, Frozen the top movie and album

What do the Walking Dead, Frozen, Candy Crush Saga, Pandora and Android Central all have in common? Today we're all listed on Google's "2014: The Year in Entertainment" infographic.

Candy Crush, unsurprisingly, leads the year's top games, followed by Don't Tap the White Tile, Farm Heroes Saga, Subway Surfers and Clash of Clans. And more than 3.5 million achievements have been doled out by Google, according to the post.

Frozen earned Movie of the Year and Album of the Year (Let it goooooooooooooo, let it goooooooooo!), with Katy Perry's Dark Horse winning Song of the Year.

The New York Times was the Top News Source on Google Play Newsstand, along with the likes of TMZ, Forbes, The Verge, HuffPo, The Daily Beast, The Wall Street Journal, Gizmodo — and a little Android blog known as Android Central.

All of us here are pretty humbled to have made it anywhere near that list. We will, however, take the next five minutes to celebrate. After that it's back to work.

Be sure to subscribe to our Google Play Newsstand edition. And while you're at it, check out our Android app, and subscribe to our YouTube channel.

Now it's time to get back to work. Thanks again, folks. You make this job awesome, and this site what it is.
