Google press event

If coverage of the highlights wasn't enough for you, Google has uploaded a video of last week's press event on YouTube.  Besides news about Chrome to phone and the all new voice actions, you'll get 29 minutes worth of Google mobile developer geekdom, and I know there's a few of you out there thinking that's just fine.  I do, too, and it's well worth a look if you're curious about mobile development or Google in general.  We have the video after the break.

I will watch this whole thing intently. I am a google geek stuck on blackberry and att. I am thinking about selling my bold on ebay and just getting a Captivate to get some Android goodness. Thoughts anyone? It will be May of next year if I wait to get out of my contract.

I think the Captivate would be light years ahead of any Blackberry phone out there. I'd go for the Captivate. :)

ouch, that gotta hurt RIMs feelings, don't you think? well, the truth hurts.

sweet video! Seriously though, that was a rough crowd. No enthusiasm at all, and that was some cool stuff. Even at the end, they ALL got Droid 2's, and no one flinched. Makes me think Apple has more control over the media then i thought.

Good just avoid getting samsung product. Get an droid incredible or droidx/droid2.

What a bunch of tools(the crowd). I think only one person actually looks at the presentation screen through all of this. If I was doing the presentation I would have started showing some porn slides to see if anyone was actually paying attention.

Man Captivate yourself with that device!!! I can't wait to get it in December, well unless a better phone comes out by then.
