So yeah. Sony's new Xperia Z5 Premium has a for-real 4K display. That'd be UHD, 3840 X 2160 pixels, checking in somewhere around 806 ppi.
Alex has seen it, and put his hands all over it. He says it's (and I quote) "insane" and not in the bad way insane. Like in the incredible way. Or the "This is as much resolution as you're ever going to need in something you're supposed to hold with one hand" kind of way. Sony knows how to make really good LCDs, and I have no doubt that the Xperia Z5's 4K screen is a thing of beauty.
But do we really want or need a 4K resolution display at 5.5-inches?
That's what we're asking you fine folk this week. You'll be buying a new phone eventually. Is a 4K screen on your list of things it needs to have? The poll is below, as are the comments. Fill both with the wisdom of the masses.
