OnePlus has put more of its Android 17 rollout on the calendar, giving owners of several older phones and tablets a clearer idea of when their next major software update will arrive. But the update also marks the end of OxygenOS as OnePlus transitions its supported devices to OPPO's ColorOS 17.

The latest rollout schedule, shared by OPPO's ColorOS Global account on X, confirms November release dates for six additional OnePlus devices. The OnePlus 13R is first in line, with its update scheduled to begin on November 5. The OnePlus 12 follows on November 17, while the OnePlus Pad 3 gets its turn a day later, on November 18.

Owners of the OnePlus Open won't have to wait much longer, either. The company's first foldable is scheduled to receive ColorOS 17 on November 24. Meanwhile, the Nord 6 and Nord CE 6 are expected to join the rollout on November 26.

OxygenOS is officially on its way out

The software transition is arguably more interesting than the rollout dates themselves. OnePlus and OPPO have shared software development resources for years, making OxygenOS and ColorOS increasingly similar. However, the Android 17 update makes that relationship official, with OxygenOS giving way to ColorOS on supported OnePlus devices.

ColorOS 17 is based on Android 17 and brings interface refinements, smoother animations, performance optimizations, and additional AI-powered features. OPPO is also pitching the software around smarter interactions and better continuity between devices.

More OnePlus devices are waiting for December

The November schedule isn't the end of the rollout. The OnePlus 11, OnePlus 12R, and Nord 5 are among the devices expected to receive the update in December. Another group of 13 OnePlus devices is scheduled for December and the first quarter of 2027, although individual release dates haven't been confirmed.

It should be noted that these are rollout start dates, not guarantees that every owner will receive the update immediately. Releases typically happen in stages, and regional availability can vary.
