Both devices sport a 5MP camera at the front along with a 13MP shooter at the back with a f/1.9 lens. The mid-range devices come with 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, LTE connectivity and dual-SIM functionality. On the software front, the handsets run Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
The Galaxy J5 boasts a 5-inch HD display, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 CPU and a 2,600mAh battery, while the larger Galaxy J7 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU and a 3,000mAh battery. The Galaxy J5 is up for sale in China for 1,398 CNY ($225), while the Galaxy J7 is available for 1,798 CNY ($290). Both are offered in gold, white and black color variants.
