Mobile World Congress, or MWC for short, is the go-to yearly trade show when it comes to everything mobile. Held in Barcelona, Spain, near the end of February or beginning of March, MWC is more mobile-focused than either CES or IFA, which have both branched out into wider areas of consumer electronics and experimental technology.

2018's iteration of MWC is taking place from February 26 to March 1, though the media coverage starts much earlier, with most people getting into Spain on February 22 and events starting as early as February 24. From the Android Central perspective the big focus of the show will be on Samsung's return to MWC with the Galaxy S9 and S9+ launch. There will also be announcements from companies like Lenovo, Honor/Huawei, Sony, HMD Global (Nokia) and many more.
