This phone always turns heads
I've been using the Razr Ultra 2025 since it launched in April, and to say it's my favorite smartphone of 2025 is a bit of an understatement. I've reviewed a handful of phones this year, from the Galaxy S25 Plus to the Pixel 10, but despite those phones being quite good, I always go back to the Razr Ultra.
The design is stunning, thanks to its standout colors, nostalgic flip phone form factor, large cover screen, and alternative materials like vegan leather, wood, and even a stitched Alcantara finish. I can't tell you how many times people stop me on the street to comment on how cool my phone is, and not only are they surprised to hear that it's the latest Motorola Razr, but they're always impressed when I show them just what I can do with it, especially all the camera/cover screen tricks.
The cameras aren't the absolute best, and there's no telephoto lens, but Motorola has massively improved the imaging on the Razr Ultra, and I find I'm perfectly content with the photos and video. In fact, there are plenty of times when I prefer images from the Razr over a Pixel.
I've also been quite satisfied with performance, durability, and battery life, and the ultra-fast charging speed means you'll be topped up in less than an hour. There's a lot to like about the Razr, and while it's still hard for me to recommend at $1,300, I would definitely suggest jumping on either of the deals I've highlighted.
