Samsung Mobile today at the IFA conference in Berlin announced the long-awaited (and heavily leaked) Samsung Galaxy Tab -- a 7-inch tablet running Android 2.2 That's right, it's launching with Froyo, folks, a leg up on the vast majority of Android devices, never mind the other tablets available.
The Galaxy Tab has full smartphone connectivity -- 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth, Adobe Flash Player 10.1 -- all in a form factor that you can hold in one hand, powered by a 1GHz processor. Want cameras? The Galaxy Tab has a 3-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and as 1.3MP camera on the front for video chats.
Is the Galaxy Tab the Android tablet we've all been waiting for? Will it dethrone the iPad? Or even threaten its position? We're just getting started with our coverage, folks. Google Goggles is a powerful, visual search tool that uses the Samsung GALAXY Tab's camera to uncover
