  • Great how-to article! A bit more tweaking and I should have Bixby impersonating Siri. 🤔
  • I won't be buying another Samsung if Bixby is part of the package.
  • No one cares
  • I get it, not at all interested in this "feature"
  • Turn it off and get on with your day. I never know it exists in my S8.
  • Someone needs to offer a service where you can get the bixby button removed/replacement frame.
  • There are cases that will cover it
  • Interesting. I'm ok with English but I find it actually funny how people are so anti Bixby. It's actually quite funny to read forums but it's more bandwagon-ism than anything else. I normally would be Pro Google if it was half as good at internal commands is Bixby but at this point it cannot do a quarter of what Bixby can do. They are completely different tools and it really boggles my mind that people are so narrow minded. The most interesting thing I see with reviews of bixby and comparisons is that the comparisons are so inconsistent that I can understand the ignorance of people when even reviewers don't seem to know how to use or choose not to use certain functions and capabilities.
I want to do more than internet search. Google is perfect at that with mapping thrown in and really shallow one step system control but Bixby goes further and it is getting better. Actual app control and multilayer commands are awesome. You would think that android users wood be more open minded.
In the future all of the assistant will aspire to do what bixby is already doing. I'm pretty sure all phones will have these capabilities and it is only the beginning.
I do suppose that they could easily have done it with software and left off the button for now as you don't need it either way we can activate it through voice.
Ok rant over. I look forward to more from all.
