Droid Incredible 4G LTE update on the way

Minor update reduces power cycling and adds ISIS support

HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE owners will be happy to know that Verizon Wireless appears to have approved an update for the device, according to some new documents on their website. While the update isn't a new version of Android, like KitKat, it does help improve the performance of the device, and that is always welcomed.

Verizon has posted the changes that are found in the new software, version 2.19.605.2 710RD, and the changes are -

  • ISIS Mobile Wallet is now supported
  • Software Upgrade and Software Repair Tools are now compatible
  • Power cycling has been reduced
  • Bluetooth® clarity has been improved
  • Security patches have been added

If any of these issues impacted your device you will definitely want to be on the lookout for this update, and even if you aren't having many issues you will want to update. Seeing the update on your device yet? Be sure to let us know in the forums any issues you come across during the update.
