Motorola Admiral

The Motorola Admiral's floated around in name only for a while now, but that ends today. This leaked screen shot points to it being part of Sprint's Direct Connect stable, with Android 2.3, a 3.1-inch display, QWERTY keyboard, a huge 1860 mAh battery that should last forever with that little screen, 5MP camera and a 1.2MHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor. If that's not the fastest little device in the West, we don't know what is. Toss in mil-spec ruggedness and this thing's likely to be a lethal weapon in itself.

Sweet!

Wow. I don't care much for "Always Out" keyboards, but, this might just be the device to finally make me *want* to deactivate my Pre.

This device may end up pulling even more users from BlackBerry. I know some people that are wanting to switch over to Android, but don't want to give up their portrait style QWERTY keyboard.

Qualcomm CPU? Wow
I was under the impression that Motorola is about TI OMAPs & Tegras only

Mhz eh? Slowest in the west maybe :)

I like this one but the XPRT is a world phone and that's the killer feature I need. Having a Physical keyboard would be a Godsend right now but I'd rather have at least a 4" screen with a side slider.

This was a special request from Google so when Schmidt gets caught on camera with his BlackBerry they can just say..."No it's an Admiral".

BB users ready for the switch?

Is this the rumored Pax?
The pics match up, has Direct Connect, gingerbread but screen is still 3.1" ... Pax was rumored to be 3.5".

If Admiral = Pax, I'm bummed. Was hoping for portrait QWERTY with screen BIGGER than 3.1" ... *sigh*

I'm with u bro. This looks like the leaked pics we had of that Motorola Pax earlier this summer. An iPhone size screen would've been the sweet spot... Looks like I'll just have to go all touchscreen w/ the Galaxy S II.

Notification LED?

I like having this built into the hardware, rather than software. My opinion.
