How to take a screenshot on the Moto X Pure Edition

Motorola has done a great job creating a brand of phones that look and act incredibly similar to what we would call Nexus-style Android for a couple of years now, without making an experience that is a carbon copy of a Nexus phone. These experiences are unique, fast, and often make for some of the best Android phones you can spend your money on. If you're one of many who recently picked up a Moto X Pure Edition, you're already starting to see how great this phone is.

Here's everything you need to know about taking a screenshot on the Moto X Pure Edition — hold down the volume down button and power button at the same time.

That's it. Just like a Nexus phone, and just like most Android phones, this is all you need to do in order to grab a screenshot. The file will be saved to your phone, and accessible from your notification tray right after you've taken it. If you swiped away that notification, you'll find the image in either your Gallery app or your Google Photos app, depending on which you prefer using to access your images. Enjoy!
