The best under-$200 Android phone is another $50 off for Cyber Monday, but you need to hurry

If you're still hunting for a smartphone deal with just a few hours of Cyber Monday remaining, you probably will only buy something that was cheap to begin with, not a flagship that's a few hundreds off but still expensive. Thankfully, among the best Android phones under $200, you'll find our #1 recommendation is cheaper than ever — at least for the next few hours!

The Moto G 2025 has respectable hardware for a budget phone: a 6.7-inch, 120Hz LCD with no PWM flickering, a Dimensity 6300 chip that's slightly faster than the SoC in the Galaxy A16 5G, a 5,000mAh battery with 30W charging, and a 50MP camera. And it's currently $149.99 ($50 off) at Amazon until midnight PST tonight!

Motorola Moto G 2025: was $199.99 now $149.99 at Amazon

Android Central verdict: ★★★★

Our Moto G 2025 reviewer praised this budget phone compared to the "terrible" Moto G 2024. Its display handles sunlight better, the vegan leather back feels great to hold, performance is surprisingly good for normal Android gaming with improved RAM Boost, and Motorola's spin-off of Android 15 works well, with another two OS updates planned. You still have to expect occasionally sluggish performance, and it's only splash-proof, not water resistant, but you'll have to accept some compromises at this price point.

✅Recommended if: You need a cheap phone with good enough hardware, battery, and software support to last you through the next couple of Cyber Mondays; you want certain perks like a microSD card slot and 3.5mm jack.

❌Skip this deal if: You want an OLED display, more than 4GB of RAM, better water resistance, an ultrawide camera sensor, and other upgrades you'd expect in mid-range phones.

While the Moto G 2025 offers great value at this Cyber Monday price, you may want to consider spending a little more on the Moto G Power 2025, which is currently $199 ($100 off) on Amazon.

This model gives you the same chip, expandable storage, battery capacity, wired charging speed, and software support, but you upgrade to 1080p resolution, doubled RAM, and a stronger Gorilla Glass rating for the display, while adding wireless charging and an ultrawide camera.

Motorola Moto G Power 2025: was $299.99 now $199.99 at Amazon

Android Central verdict: ★★★½

Our Moto G Power 2025 reviewer wasn't that impressed with this $299 phone, but he'd certainly feel differently about it at its current $199 price! He praised the phone for its distinct style and rugged protection, sporting an IP69 rating and MIL-STD-810H certification. He also praised the solid battery life, though he feels it should've had a slightly larger capacity to live up to its "Power" namesake. Still, it'll last you all day with no issue!

The next upgrade level would be the Moto G Stylus 2025, one of our top Android phones under $400 that's currently $115 off on Amazon. That model gives you a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip that beats the Dimensity 6300 for performance, along with better cameras, faster wired charging, and a 1,220p OLED display with a blazing 3,000 nits — compared to 1,000 nits on the Moto G or G Power 2025.

But again, you probably don't want to spend too much at this point! So your best option will be to snag the Moto G 2025 at its all-time-low $149 price before the deal is gone.
