Nandika has over five years of experience as a multimedia journalist, news editor, and reporter. At OMNI News, she built the network's digital presence on social media platforms, chased and reported on news stories relevant to Canada's immigrant communities, and collaborated daily with seven different language teams. She also spearheaded special projects with CityNews Toronto and produced Pinoy Nation. Following this, she honed her skills as the senior news editor at Insauga.com, a hyper-local Canadian news website catering to 18 cities and communities across southern Ontario. Her core competencies include multimedia journalism, breaking news, crafting weekly columns, social media content creation, and podcast production. Nandika holds a BA in Communication and Journalism from India and a post-graduate diploma in Mass Communication and Media Studies from Seneca College.
