Get your bad guy on with these Suicide Squad themes!

We've featured themes for a lot of good guys, from Iron Man and Spider-Man to Batman and Superman to Deadpool — "I'm no hero!" Get out, Wade! — but it's good to be bad sometimes, too! And while we all prepare to let our bad selves out attending a Suicide Squad screening, we can put some of that delicious badness on our home screen.

Harley Quinn Theme

Harley Quinn is bright, perky, and unbalanced, and so, too, is her theme! This theme is based around not one, but two icon packs, two custom KWGTs and a little Nova (or Action Launcher) magic. Here's everything you'll need:

  1. Download Harley Quinn wallpaper by sherill018 from deviantart by long-pressing the image on mobile and selection Save image (right click image on desktop and Save image as…).
  2. Long-press a blank space on your home screen and select Wallpapers. Pick image and navigate to your downloaded Harley Quinn wallpaper.
  3. Position the wallpaper so that Harley is on the left side of the screen with the butt of her bat almost touching the edge of the screen and Set wallpaper.
  4. In Nova Settings, open Look & feel, the set UIcons Blue as your Icon theme.
  5. Go back to the main Nova Settings menu and open Folders.

Nova Settings to help your theme pop

  1. Set Background to Pink (second row, second column). I like to keep the Transparency around 40%, but you can crank it up or down to your preference.
  2. (Optional) In Nova Settings, open Desktop settings and set Page indicator color to either Pink (second row, second column) or Holo Blue (third row, third column).
  3. (Optional) In Nova Settings, open App & widget drawers settings and set Background to Pink (second row, second column).

Custom icons can get tedious, but they look great

  1. Return to the home screen and long-press the first shortcut in your dock and Edit it.
  2. Tap the icon to edit it and select UIcons Red as the source for your new icon.
  3. Find the corresponding icon for your shortcut. It should hopefully be at the top.
  4. Confirm the change by selecting Done.
  5. Repeat steps 7-10 on the third, fifth and if applicable seventh icons on your dock. For the app drawer shortcut scroll down in UIcons to SYSTEM icons and look for a skull under an X icon.

What time is it?

  • Used Harley's theme concept and came up with a decent Joker one. Purples and Greens
  • I came up with a few concepts for Joker, but at the end of the day none of them felt quite right. You use the Stamped purple and green packs or color variants in Glim?
  • I used a few different ones, Mean Green, one called Purple, Cygnus Dark just to name a few. I was trying to share a screenshot but doesn't look like a way to do it
  • You have to host it elsewhere and share a link. Like the comment a few down from yours.

  • The music widget isnt working is there anything i need to edit?
  • In KWGT, you might want to set your primary media player. Tap the widget (not on one of the buttons or the album ) to enter the configuration screen. Swipe in from the left side of the screen and tap Settings. set the Preferred Music Player to the player of your choice. Not all music players will work with it, and you should also make sure you have notification permissions enabled for KWGT.
  • Too bad the movie sucked. Thank goodness T-Mobile paid for my ticket.
  • Can't get KWGT Pro until I get paid next week, but I had a go at making a similar clock/date widget with the free version, plus making my PowerAMP and CircleLauncher widgets match: http://i.imgur.com/zm2B1Jp.png
  • Me likey!
  • "Use the pass-code!" :-D
How old were you said that line? You look like a teenager in that video. And those waxed eyebrows.....
Now waiting for you shouting on screen "Use your Iris people!"
PS. I don't know whether I am allowed to say the name of that video or not, that's why didn't mention it But it has something to do phone security.
  • That's from college, so it's three or four years old. I need to do more video stuff. And it'll be a while before iris tech takes off assuming it ever does.
