This is one of AOC's newest monitors. It has only been out for about a month now. The pixel resolution is 1920 x 1080. It has a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 1 ms. It still manages that fast response time even with an IPS panel, which is fantastic. That means you get the speeds you need for gaming while maintaining the wide 178-degree viewing angles and color accuracy you need for media absorption.
Its design includes very thin ("frameless") bezels on three sides, which makes these screens great in multi-monitor setups. Even just one monitor is super immersive.
It comes with AOC features that include a low blue mode and flicker-free tech to reduce eye strain over long periods of time by eliminating blue light and flickers. AMD's FreeSync is also built into the monitor to reduce screen tearing during high-impact gameplay. Connectivity options include one DisplayPort, two HDMI ports, and one VGA input. It comes with both a DisplayPort cable and an HDMI cable, and you will definitely want to prioritize the DisplayPort connection to maximize the refresh rate and use AMD's FreeSync.
The screen is also VESA compatible so you can mount the monitor to a wall or arm.
AOC's monitors have a great warranty system. It covers three years for zero bright dots, three years for advance replacement, and a one-year one-time replacement due to accidental damage.
