The Galaxy Tab S2 is a tablet from Samsung that comes in an 8-inch and 9.7-inch variety. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is the "thinnest and lightest tablet of its size ever" at just 5.6 mm thin, with the 8-inch version weighing 265 g and the 9.7-inch version getting a weight of 389 g. Both versions have a Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048x1536.
Both variants are running Android 5.0 Lollipop and are sporting an octa-core processor, with four cores running at 1.9GHz and the other four at 1.3GHz. Also inside is 3GB of RAM, an 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP front camera, and fingerprint scanner. Both models are available as Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants as well.

The Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 takes a proven formula from Samsung's recent phones and tablets, and brings it together into one solid package. It checks a ton of boxes and is a great tablet offering, but there are still shortcomings — not the least of which being its high price tag.

Samsung has taken the wraps off its latest pair of high-end tablets, the Galaxy Tab S2 series. Coming in 9.7 and 8.0-inch flavors, the Tab S2 packs premium internals including an octa-core CPU and 2048x1536-resolution display.
